The Chesapeake Yacht Club (CYC) functions under the leadership of a Board of Governors composed of volunteers proposed by a nominating committee and elected by the membership. The Board consists of six Flag Officers, three Governors, and the immediate Past Commodore. Our resident club manager and administrative assistant handle daily operations.

Membership at CYC is very affordable in comparison with the areas marinas. Members at CYC are shareholders, each purchasing a non-transferable share in the Club upon acceptance. Applicants pay a one-time initiation fee and as members pay annual dues and a slip rental fee. There is also a nominal dining room minimum, currently applicable only during the Spring, Summer and Fall seasons.
