Club Princess
Over the years, CYC has selected a Princess from our Junior Fleet or Active Membership ranks. CYC Princesses were chosen before this time as far back as 1958, but little seems to be recorded from those times. In 1962 we selected our first Princess who participated in vying for title of Queen, in the Queen of the Chesapeake Bay Pageant which is held annually at Maryland Yacht Club. In addition to this competition, our Princess represents Chesapeake Yacht Club at various Balls and Flag Raising Ceremonies around the Bay. We present our Princess for 2012, Katlyn Broman.
